ETA, the seventh letter of the Greek alphabet with a numerical value of eight. The Pandora’s Box, the box that is known to consist the seven deadly sins. Is there really just seven? Our installation, narrates the story from the Greek Mythology, Pandora’s Box. Due to Pandora’s curiosity, she opened the box and released the seven deadly evils to the world. She was horrified and quickly shut the box to prevent anything else from coming out. But little did she know, the eighth evil, Hope, was left inside. Hope, a double-edged sword, either the light at the end of the tunnel or the deceptive expectations to mankind. Hope in reality is the worst evil of all, as it prolongs the torments of the man.
The work uses processing and creates a a 2C2 communication such that when one door is opened by visitors the bend sensor will activate the other LEDs in the other boxes to change. This was a group work between three classmates
